Karin was recommended to us by one of the Bay Area’s most successful real estate brokers, a former neighbor, who declined our listing because his agency did not work in our area. He recommended Karin. Boy, was he spot on. I am a retired lawyer who specialized in major commercial real estate transactions. So, I understood the basics of the process but not the nuances of residential sales. Karin was just about perfect from the get-go. First, she had a realistic analysis of the pricing for our property, while others we interviewed had pie-in-the-sky evaluations. We based our pricing on Karin’s analysis but felt our property could bring more than the comps indicated, so we priced it aggressively. Karin was OK with that and said she would “work her ___ off” to get us our price, which she did. Once the listing was signed, she took off like a rocket, arranging photo and video shoots and a website. We were living in the home, so she used our furniture but made suggestions how the property would show better. She event furnished some flourishes from her personal stash. She was in constant communication with us and promptly answered our questions. Long (well, not so long) story short, we had a contract in 17 days from our first meeting with Karin. She gave sound advice regarding negotiations, counseled patience when it was warranted, and a hard line when that was appropriate. The net result is that we got our asking price and were very satisfied with Karin’s service. We highly recommend her.

Karin is a great companion to have on a long trip to sell a stunning house at a site where buyers expect cabins with lots of land - and not a great place to live in and commute from. Karin has a rare combination of professionalism, imagination and a sense of humor. She focuses on the nuts and bolts that make the identification of a buyer and the closing of a deal possible. Together with her partner, Scott Hayes, she put together a drone-driven photo shoot which opened many eyes through Zillow. Even though this was a long trek, the property had astronomical views and saves through the website. People who saw our home in Zillow loved it. A few took the next step to physically visit it. Karin and her partner Scott did a great job throughout the sales process for a challenging and unique piece of property that required lots of cleanup and removal of the almost 50-year accumulation of a hoarder.
